You can apply for a CUA Everyday 55+ Account in three easy steps. It should only take a few minutes to complete the application.

What information will we need to complete your CUA Everyday 55+ Account application?

Personal Details
We’ll ask you to provide your name, date of birth, residential address, phone numbers, current e-mail address and Tax File Number*. To verify your identity we ask for the details of your driver’s licence or passport.

*It is not compulsory for you to provide your Tax File Number, however we may deduct withholding tax from any interest you earn if we don’t have your Tax File Number or a TFN exemption code.

Becoming a customer and ordering a Visa Debit Card
By continuing with the application you agree to become a customer of CUA and a Member Share will be allotted to you. For your convenience, we will also order you a Visa Debit Card for your CUA Everyday 55+ Account so you can easily access your money.

Consent for electronic identity verification against Credit Bureau

We are required by law to verify who you are. To do this as efficiently as possible, we check that the identity information you have supplied in this application matches your details held with credit bureaus such as Dun & Bradstreet, Veda or Experian. This process won’t be recorded on your credit history or in any way alter your credit history.

1. By continuing with your application, you consent to Credit Union Australia Ltd disclosing your name, residential address and date of birth to a credit reporting agency for the purpose of conducting an electronic identity verification.

2. You also consent to us requesting and the credit reporting agency providing an assessment of whether the personal information provided by you matches (in whole or in part) personal information contained in a credit information file in the possession or control of the credit reporting agency to assist in verifying your identity for the purposes of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Act 2006.

If you do not consent to having your identity verified by a credit reporting agency, you will be unable to continue this application. Please contact us so that we can discuss other options with you.
